Tammy Baldwin is running for her second term in the U.S. Senate. Tammy is the first openly LGBTQ individual ever elected to serve in the Senate and is the first woman ever elected to represent the state of Wisconsin in Congress. When serving in the House of Representatives, she authored the provision in the Affordable Care Act that allows individuals 26 and under to stay on their parents’ insurance. Furthermore, she is a champion for voting rights, LGBTQ equality, and reproductive rights.
Wisconsin is one of 10 states that Donald Trump won in 2016 that has a Democratic Senator up for re-election in 2018. The state is at the center of the Senate battleground map and will be critical in determining Senate control for 2018 and beyond.
